But here is a Social media star who's Wedding pictures are ruling the internet knocking down the sterotypes. Yes you are right its non other then ravishing, beautiful, funny and unapologetic for being her self "Faiza saleem". Faiza Saleem is a lawyer turned comedian based in Karachi. She was the first female social media entertainer to have pursued stand-up comedy in Pakistan .She recently tied knot with the love of her life Abuzar.
She is the empowered women who never thought about "log kya kahain gay " And did what she liked and made herself happy. She just demolished all the stereotypical words like "weight kam kar lo shadi kon karay ga", " Dhulanain zyada nahi boltin" , “if your fat you are ugly" And my more. She slayed her every look and was looking stunning.Dancing in a pair of sneakers and enjoying each and every moment of her own Shadi.
Faiza wrote, “As women we are expected not to be happy at our wedding. But why not? I’m marrying the love of my life… everyone who matters is happy for me or should be happy for me. Then why should I let nobodies dictate when, where and how I should express my emotions? If someone doesn’t like it, then too bad too sad.”
She silently gave message to all the ladies out there who daily face body shaming,sexist comments, gender discrimination blah blah that be yourself, do what makes you happy, wear what makes you feel comfortable, you are beautiful in your own way. She said "When we put people into boxes, we not only restrict their freedom but also their potential to be the best version of themselves.”
There was a picture of faiza and abuzar which went viral .It showed Abuzer with a sewing machine with Faiza looking over him, pinching his cheek. She posted on Instagram "Not that there’s anything wrong with me being on the machine. But we have been together for a few years now and one of the main reasons for that is that we don’t have defined gender roles, which means that we both don’t succumb to the pressure of doing what people think we should do."
